An easy-to-read visual guide, DHTML and CSS for the World Wide Web presents two key Web standards, Dynamic HTML and Cascading Style Sheets. DHTML is a catch-all term for a set of browser technologies, including the Document Object Model and the ability to control it with JavaScript. CSS is a specification for formatting pages by defining and applying named styles. Microsoft and Netscape began to implement these standards in their version 4.0 browsers, but with huge variations that frustrate web designers. This title is divided into four parts.
